Strategic Crossroads of the Body 1 (SCB1)
Full Fee: $1550inc GST. Early Saver applies until 5 weeks prior to the commencement of the course.
Fascia and peritoneum make up envelopes that provide immune and mechanical protection for their contents. These wrappers facilitate harmonious gliding between structures. Surrounding fibers are arranged in precise and logical directions, as a function of their various mechanical purposes. In addition, fibers conduct electromagnetic waves and play a significant nutritional role for the elements they encompass.
During this course you will learn about important fascial and peritoneal crossroads where nerves, arteries, veins and lymph canals have the risk to be compressed in a case of retraction or fibrosity due to surgery, accidents, hormonal dysbalance, and systemic diseases. Sometimes following infectious or traumatic factors they become indurated. They can create real deleterious effects on the neurovascular and visceral systems.
This class will enable you to identify the most exposed intersections and release their tensions by specific and precise manual techniques as well providing you with an inventory of the most superficial and accessible of these intersections, and the neurovascular bundles that go through these strategic locations. Specific tensions can be released with precise techniques and you will study the following crossroads:
- Cranio cervical
- Cervical thoracic
Evaluation is performed by listening tests and pulse taking. Treatment involves induction technique for the peritoneum, pleura, fascia, arteries, nerves and veins.
Prerequisite: Can be achieved in the following combinations - VM2 and MALE OR MAUE OR MASP - VM2 and NM2 OR NM3 - VM2 and VVMU or VVML.
