Course Description

This course provides an in-depth exploration of evaluation and treatment techniques for the vascular system of the lower body. Through hands-on methods and research-based insights, you will learn to assess and release vascular restrictions to enhance circulation, organ function, and recovery after trauma or surgery.

Key Learning Outcomes

Vascular Anatomy & Function: Understand how arteries of the lower body, including the hepatic, splenic, femoral, and popliteal, adjust their diameter based on physiological demands and how vascular compression contributes to restriction patterns and pain.
Hands-On Techniques: Learn to locate and release vascular restrictions using direct compression, decompression, and elongation techniques to improve circulation and restore function.
Targeted Vascular Treatment: Explore Barral’s concept of the knee as a ‘neurological joint’ and discover methods to restore its intelligence through improved blood flow. Understand the role of vascular treatment in post-trauma and post-surgical recovery, particularly for pelvic, hip, and knee procedures.
Clinical Integration & Research: Examine Doppler ultrasound research on arterial mobilization techniques, learn to treat the vaso-pressive system and the brain, and integrate vascular treatment seamlessly into therapeutic practice.
